will cost. We offer you a free, in-person quote with our experienced estimators, and by the time
they’re finished, you’ll have a written estimate in your hands that we will
honor—guaranteed.

How long have you been in business?
Before Platinum Painting, residential painting companies gave homeowners just one choice—the
paint color. DFW residents Karl and Marjorie Pickens started Platinum Painting in 2008 to give
customer more choices and control. Since then, Platinum Painting has painted more than 10,000 homes
throughout North Texas.
How long does the process take?
Our estimators can come to your home about two to four days after your initial phone call. During
this in-person meeting, we’ll give you a free, written quote for your project. When you are
ready to move forward with the project, we can arrange the work two weeks in advance. The time it
takes to complete the project largely depends on the number and size of the rooms included, but in
general our team takes about two to three days.
What type of paint do you use?
Do you have a preferred store or brand of paint that you would like us to use? No problem! We are
flexible and can adapt to your needs. If not, we strongly recommend Sherwin Williams’ Cashmere
Interior Acrylic Latex and SuperPaint Exterior Acrylic paints. These paints give our clients
high-end results without costing an outrageously high price.
